Troika's Curriculum

Our choice of British-Nigerian curriculum is based on modern trends and relevance in today's world.

Our British-Nigerian Curriculum is broad-based and globally relevant. We have thought well about what is currently relevant and we have embraced a unique line of learning that you are proud of.

The Curriculum

We have ensured that our curriculum meets international standards and you would not have to worry if your child or ward is going abroad for high school education.
Our curriculum:

  • ensures that pupils receive a broad and balanced education, with a focus on core subjects such as English, Math, and Science that are crucial to children’s development
  • promotes regular testing, enabling educators to continuously track pupils’ progress and address any gaps observed.
Why We Are Different
  • We are different in many areas that you would find dearly appealing.

Christian Morals and Values are well articulated and taught so that our pupils and learners are built as young people who are sound academically and morally.

Low pupil to educator ratio: The ratio of pupil to educator in Troika is, and is kept, at a low rate for the purpose of effectiveness.

Multilingual Studies: To set our pupils ready for the realities of the twenty-first century, we emphasize on and teach French and Chinese.

Secure and Safe Environment: Our classrooms and premises are covered with CCTV cameras, to add to the security proficiency that is in place.

Early Bird/After School Care: We also make provisions to take care of, and look after, pupils who might be dropped off pretty earlier in the morning as well as those who might be picked up late in the day, long after school hours.

  • … we are proud to have a set of seasoned staff, a serene environment, air-conditioned classrooms, a fully equipped ICT lounge, an effective transportation system.

Extra-Curricular

Besides equipping our pupils/students with application knowledge in literacy and numeracy, we are profound in such areas as:

 Music |  Robotics | Sports

Music – Our teachers, using practical and simple steps, train the pupils in the rudiments of music including sight-reading, co-ordination, and performance.

Our robotics class produced participants that represented Nigeria in Jakarta (2013), Russia (2014), and Qatar (2015) for World Robots Olympiad. Our pupils caught the attention of and attracted sponsorship from, First Bank of Nigeria Plc.

These engagements accelerate the learners’ psycho-motor skills and make them great thinkers and achievers.

Multi-Lingual Studies

The inclusion of Mandarin (Chinese) in our Curriculum since 2013 – in addition to French – is to further give our pupils the competitive edge required for business in the 21st century in line with our motto; Value-added Advantage!

China is not just the world’s oldest and richest culture (over 5000 years old), it is the most populous nation in the world, with over 1.28 billion people.

One-fifth of the planet speaks Chinese and Mandarin Chinese is the mother tongue of over 873 million people, making it the most widely spoken first language in the world.

With China’s ever-growing economy and dominance, Troika School’s multilingual studies prepare children for the future that is already here.
